G.W.R. STEAM
Great Western Railway Survivors.
Here are my images of preserved steam locomotives.
One of my passions as a child was train spotting, nearly always Western Region, so my love of these engines is lifelong. After school I only wanted one career - to be an engine driver! My first job was as a junior porter on the Western Region of British Rail. I never made it as an engine driver but enjoyed my time as a 'Railwayman'
I now enjoy visiting the various heritage railways and these images are a record of my visits. Hope you like them!
